NOMA DAYS
After an intense meeting where we were able to reflect, share and learn about a topic that has profoundly marked our lives, it is time to evaluate everything we have experienced so far. The Conference on Non-Motherhood has been a space for meeting, dialogue and personal growth for all of us, women who have lived and experienced closely the various facets of this experience.
During these days, we have had the opportunity to listen to inspiring testimonies, to share our own stories and to debate topics that, for a long time, have been relegated to silence and invisibility. From pain and discomfort to acceptance and empowerment, we have explored the multiple dimensions of non-motherhood and have found in this space a safe place to express our emotions and our experiences without judgment or prejudice.
The round tables, communications, debates and talks have been the perfect setting to address specific topics from different perspectives and to mutually enrich ourselves with the experiences and knowledge of each of the women present. From the social and cultural impact of motherhood to the personal narratives of those who have traveled a path of transformation and personal development, we have explored a wide range of topics that have allowed us to better understand our own experience and our place in the world.
