Emi of the Key
Therapeutic Project Director
Emi de la Llave is a registered psychologist M-18159 and has been practicing her profession since 2001, working in different mental health resources such as psychiatric hospitals, cocaine unit, dual pathology unit or prisons. Since 2005, he has combined this activity with private practice as a gestalt psychotherapist and in 2010 he joined the team of trainers at the gestalt therapy training school, Equipo Centro. Currently, she combines her work as a psychotherapist with her awareness-raising work by writing opinion articles about aspects of women in society and specifically in the role of mother/non-mother.
In January 2015, a group project was born after being able to overcome my own pain of not being able to have children. My own personal experience and overcoming this trauma, as well as my work on the subject, have put me at the service of accompanying other women.
For many years I wanted to have wanted to be a mother although I also knew it wasn't at all costs. I decided to face it with help and be able to let go of motherhood as a life option, building a different path again with my partner.
I have been able to realize that the great desire to be a mother and its non-achievement was doing me a lot of damage for too many years on all levels, physical, emotional and mental. So much so that I felt sick and even got sick. Currently and after a great process of transformation, I recognize myself as a free, independent woman, satisfied in my decisions and strengthened thanks to this journey and this profound journey from which my true essence has been reborn, it has been an opportunity to review my life, my family, the society in which I am immersed, my partner and myself.
That has been the reason why I have put myself in a position to accompany women who suffer the pain, frustration or anguish of not being able to be mothers to improve their lives and manage to get them back on track, regardless of the result and also the reason for taking on the Internet this blog where you can share reflections, experiences and teaching materials that can shed more light on this increasingly growing topic in modern societies, bringing it to light and sharing it>>.
Marta Calabrese
Support psychologist
Registered health psychologist No. M-18679, Gestalt therapist trained in several areas. With a psychology office and member of the 25 Club.
I studied psychology among many other reasons, because I have always been concerned about people's well-being, being able to accompany and help in difficult moments of their lives, knowing their inner world and understanding what disturbs them and always with respect.
In 2004 I focused more on working with adolescents at risk of social exclusion, with various pathologies and complying with judicial measures. For 19 years I have dedicated myself to this group. Currently I am dedicating myself to people with mental disorders and addiction problems, homeless people, ex-prisoners... working in a psycho-geriatric residence.
I have been intervening in private consultation for more than 20 years and individually for 5 years with women who are going through infertility or treatment problems.
My dynamic, proactive and entrepreneurial character has led me to collaborate in associations in the neighborhood where I grew up, until now becoming a member of the 25 Club, exposing and raising awareness through informative workshops on social problems in the that we see each other involved daily. For the same motivation and desire, several years ago I launched my project “Psychological Support” where I care, listen and accompany all those people with difficulties.
During a period of my life I had to go through a disturbing situation, realizing, thanks to the support of Emi de la Llave, the pain and conflict due to the difficulty of not having been a mother, as well as the suffering generated by it. From her workshop “Being a woman and not being a mother”, I was able to go through it and close it.
I am very grateful for the invitation from Emi de la Key for the trust placed in me, and for giving me the opportunity to participate as an observer, in her project “Being a woman and not being a mother”, as a support figure, who, With respect and admiration, I accompany each of the participants in the process.

Sea Colina
Certified health psychologist No. M-10733, sexologist, Gestalt psychotherapist, bioenergetics, systemic, transpersonal. I have been practicing my profession since 1983 both in institutions and in private practice. I have been working with women's groups for many years. I am a teacher at various Gestalt Therapy training schools and a writer, author of the book Athena or the Girl Who Lost Her Navel, and also a supervisor.
I thought I wanted to be a psychologist to help people, but over time I have been able to realize that what I am truly passionate about is growing internally and my profession has helped me in that.
I was not a mother, now I know why being small and being a mother is something terrible. Therefore I dedicated myself to growing up and put aside being a mother. Biology and psyche do not go hand in hand. When you really grow up, biology is no longer with you and being a mother when I was little was not in my plans. I didn't want to have to be older out of obligation but out of inner growth and this takes time.
You can be happy without being a mother. You can be happy by learning to be a mother yourself and I dedicated myself to this. I hope the human species forgives me for not populating the planet. My choice was to be a mother of myself and learn to love myself and accompany myself in life.
In my profession I help you grow as I did with myself. The majority of my patients are women and through them I know the pain of giving your life without having this own life. It is not easy to have to be older when you are actually still small internally and on this planet we all walk on one leg.
I met Emi on my professional and personal path and we ended up being friends and colleagues both in this profession and on this journey that is life. Thank you for having me on your team
